How to publish an asset
Publishing controls who can see and use one of your assets. You set it on the asset’s Publishing tab on the website dashboard.
Set the scope
Section titled “Set the scope”- On the dashboard, open Assets and click the asset you want to share
- Go to the Publishing tab
- Choose a scope:
| Scope | Who can see it |
|---|---|
| Personal | Only you. The default for a new asset. |
| Organisation | You and the members of your organisation. |
| Public | Everyone — the asset appears in the Farketplace. |
The change takes effect immediately.
Feature an asset
Section titled “Feature an asset”On the same tab you can mark a published asset as Featured. Featured assets are highlighted in the Farketplace — for example, in the home-page carousel.
Cover image
Section titled “Cover image”Public assets show a cover image on their Farketplace card and detail page. If you don’t supply one, Farkitect generates a distinctive placeholder so every asset still reads as a card.
What happens after publishing
Section titled “What happens after publishing”- Organisation assets appear in the asset lists of your fellow organisation members, who can create projects from them.
- Public assets appear in the Farketplace for anyone to browse, download, or create a project from — no sign-in required to browse.
To stop sharing, change the scope back to Personal at any time.
