How to manage project members and roles
Add a member to a project
Section titled “Add a member to a project”- Open the project’s member management area
- Click Add Member
- Select from the list of organisation members (only existing org members appear)
- Assign a project role: Admin, Contributor, or Viewer
- Confirm
The member can now access this project at their assigned role level.
Change a member’s project role
Section titled “Change a member’s project role”- Find the member in the project’s member list
- Change their role:
- Admin — full control including member management
- Contributor — can edit models but not manage members
- Viewer — read-only access
Remove a member from a project
Section titled “Remove a member from a project”- Find the member in the project’s member list
- Click Remove
They lose access to this project immediately but remain in the organisation and retain access to other projects.
- Only project Admins can manage project members
- A person must be an organisation member before they can be added to a project
- Project roles are independent of organisation roles — a Member in the org can be an Admin on a specific project
