- In the Appearance section, adjust Border colour and Border width
Change edge colour
Section titled “Change edge colour”- Click an edge (relationship) on the Canvas to select it
- In the Properties panel or Appearance section, set the Colour
Revert to default
Section titled “Revert to default”To remove an override and restore the metamodel’s default appearance:
- Select the element or edge
- In the Appearance section, click the revert control next to the overridden property
- Formatting overrides are per-element, per-diagram. The same element can have different colours on different diagrams.
- Default colours come from the M2 metamodel’s notation definition. Changing the M2 notation affects all instances that haven’t been individually overridden.
- Use formatting sparingly for emphasis — for example, highlighting systems under review in red or completed items in green. Over-formatting makes diagrams harder to read.
